Camp’d Out was born from a lifelong love of the outdoors. It all began on my grandparents’ farm in Missouri, where summers were spent swimming in the pond, picking wildflowers, catching frogs, roasting s’mores by the fire, and camping under the stars.

Years later, while road-tripping down the coast of Australia, I stumbled upon a pop-up campsite in Byron Bay. Beautifully styled canvas tents tucked beneath the trees, it was the first time I saw camping through a different lens. Comfort and design without compromising adventure. And right there, the idea for Camp’d Out took root.

Camp’d Out started with a simple vision: to offer design-driven boutique camping experiences that help campers slow down and reconnect with nature without the stress of logistics. What began as full-service off-the-grid getaways quickly grew into tailored event offerings, from intimate weddings and brand activations to wellness retreats, TV sets, and even our own hosted events like Adult Summer Camp and Pop-ups along the California coast.

Over the years, one detail kept coming back to me: The gear we wear outdoors should feel as special as the places we go. That idea became Camp’d Out Adventure Gear: small-batch apparel and gear inspired by camping, road trips, exploring mountain towns and slow days at the cabin. Functional, well-made and a little unexpected.

The collection began with My Grandpa’s Jacket, an ode to my grandfather J.R. and the cattleman coat he passed down to me. Coming from a multi-generational cattleman family, I wanted our version to feel as tough, timeless and playful as he was. Each jacket is patterned, cut and sewn in small batches in Los Angeles.

Today, Camp’d Out continues to grow intentionally, creating things worth keeping and bringing people together through design-driven outdoor experiences each year.
