Camp’d Out was born from a lifelong love of the outdoors. It all began on my grandparents’ farm in Missouri, where summers were spent swimming in the pond, picking wildflowers, catching frogs, roasting s’mores by the fire, and camping under the stars.

Years later, while road-tripping down the coast of Australia, I stumbled upon a pop-up campsite in Byron Bay. Beautifully styled canvas tents tucked beneath the trees, it was the first time I saw camping through a different lens. Comfort and design without compromising adventure. And right there, the idea for Camp’d Out took root.

Camp’d Out started with a simple vision: to offer design-driven boutique camping experiences that help campers slow down and reconnect with nature without the stress of logistics. What began as full-service off-the-grid getaways quickly grew into tailored event offerings, from intimate weddings and brand activations to wellness retreats, TV sets, and even our own hosted events like Adult Summer Camp and Pop-ups along the California coast.

Over the years, one detail kept coming back to me: The gear we wear outdoors should feel as special as the places we go. That evolution led to the creation of Camp’d Out Adventure Gear, a collection designed for modern explorers who value timeless style, craftsmanship and quality. The collection is made up of essential items you would always take with you on every adventure, inspired by the Great American Roadtrip (with a quirky twist, of course). 

Kicking off the collection is My Grandpa’s Jacket, an ode to my grandfather J.R. Coming from a multi-generational cattleman family, it was important to me that this classic American jacket was more than just stylish, it had to be as tough, timeless and as playful as him. Each jacket is made in small batches, patterned, cut and hand-sewn in Los Angeles.
